As specialists in medical imaging, Radia understands that diagnostic tests can create anxious moments for many patients. Our web site is designed to provide information to help alleviate those feelings by acquainting you with what you can expect when you arrive at our centers.

Diagnostic imaging, also called radiology, is a highly specialized field of medicine that uses advanced technology to reveal the internal structure and function of the human body. This makes diagnosis and treatment more accurate and eliminates the need for many invasive procedures. Our highly trained technologists have extensive experience working with patients to provide the highly detailed images the radiologists need for diagnosis.

Our radiologists are experts at interpreting all imaging exams. The full picture of your exam outcome is best seen as a combination of your exam results joined with the clinical findings of your doctor. Often, the radiologist will contact your physician while you are in our center if they need more information about your medical history or want to talk about a concern.

Scheduling an appointment. Call the clinic location nearest you for a convenient time. Radia outpatient clinics offer a relaxed environment, convenient locations and free parking. If your insurance plan requires a referral, please obtain one from your Primary Care Physician before you make your appointment with Radia.

Once you've made the appointment, please use the links on the left for further information on the exam you’ve scheduled.

Check-in. You will need to bring your insurance card(s), which our staff will copy for your confidential medical record. Registration involves recording the responsible parties for billing purposes. If your visit is the result of a work-related or traffic-related injury, our staff will need additional information. To save time, we may call you directly to pre-register. Be sure to bring any referral forms provided by your physician’s office.

Preparation. Imaging procedures use highly sophisticated equipment. Correct preparation for your exam is extremely important to ensure your test provides the necessary diagnostic information. Our staff is available to answer your questions during work hours. Detailed exam preparation instructions will be given to you when you schedule your exam.
