Per Diem Sonographers, MRI and CT Technologists
We are currently looking for per diem Sonographers, MRI and CT Technologists to work in our imaging centers in Kirkland, Edmonds, and Everett.

In the CT and MRI positions, you will perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.  Sonographers will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.  You will also model Radia’s commitment to exemplary patient care, customer service and teamwork. The primary responsibilities are:

  • MRI/CT: Perform all MRI and/or CT procedures per established protocols. Properly prepare and position patient for MRI/CT procedures.
  • Sonographers: Perform variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts.  Responsible for preliminary assessments, summarizing diagnostic data and communicating this information with diagnostic images, orally, and in writing to the interpreting physician
  • Screen patient prior to examination for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the exam and explain procedure.
  • Assist interpreting physician as needed.
  • Support Radia efforts in quality and compliance.

We are looking for a candidate who meets these requirements:

MRI/CT Technologists:

  • Must have satisfactorily completed formal radiologic technology program
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license required.  Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Advanced registry in MRI and/or CT preferred
  • Minimum of one-year MRI and/or CT experience preferred
  • Possess complete understanding of the use of multi-slice CT scanner and/or MRI scanner and applications as well as related computer applications

Sonographers:

  • Graduation from 2-4 yr. C.A.H.E.A. accredited ultrasound program, B.S. degree in ultrasound technology preferred
  • Registered sonographer or must obtain appropriate registry within 18 months of hire
  • Minimum 1 year experience as ultrasound technologist

Imaging Center Manager – Ballard
Radia has an exciting career opportunity for a skilled imaging leader to provide leadership for our joint venture imaging centers in the Seattle area.

The purpose of the job is to partner with Medical Center to achieve operational and administrative excellence, a solid record of compliance and volume growth at the Ballard Imaging Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Develops workable plans to achieve operational goals in the most efficient manner possible. Remains current on technological and clinical advances in imaging. Pursues profit opportunities and cost savings without sacrificing quality or patient satisfaction.
  • Growth: Works with the RTI President and Swedish leadership to provide direction for marketing efforts. Measures marketing activity and return on investment. Meets with referring providers to determine service levels and requested improvements.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Proactively and consistently seeks to understand our customers, and patients. Empowers staff to meet customer and patient needs.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensures quality, safety and related regulatory requirements are maintained. Develops, monitors and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Supports quality programs and initiatives.
  • Partner Relationship: Collaborates with hospital leadership to ensure a common direction and execution of key strategies. Regularly dialogues with hospital stakeholders to ensure shared responsibility and mutual respect.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience: 3 years experience leading an outpatient imaging center. 5 years experience as a technologist.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
  • Certifications: Advanced registry required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive Motion: Requires constant use of keyboard or hand-held device.
  • Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this job.
  • Lifting, Pushing and Pulling: Strength sufficient to lift some patients, move heavy equipment on wheels (up to approx. 500 lbs), and to move patients in wheelchairs and stretchers.
  • Grasping: Position involves prolonged arm positions necessary for scanning and grasping relevant tools.
  • Repetitive Motion: Frequent use of scanners and keyboards.
  • Visual Acuity: Requires the ability to read computer and instrument monitors.
  • Environmental Hazards: Potential exposure to bodily fluids (blood, mucus, secretions, etc.), including Bloodborne pathogens.

Patient Accounts Follow Up Rep- Everett

We are currently looking for a Patient Accounts Follow-Up Representative with experience in a high-volume billing environment to join us in our corporate office in Everett.

We are looking for an organized, methodical person who can work with our team to resolve problems and provide answers:

  • Research denials on all insurance charge lines, resolving problems and re-billing in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Assist patients, their representatives or insurance companies to resolve any account problems or answer questions.
  • Initiate contact with insurance companies, medical offices, hospitals and other sources of information to resolve issues.
  • Work accounts receivable agings and other pertinent reports to resolve unpaid charges in a timely manner.

We need someone who has the following experience, skills and education:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in medical/healthcare billing and follow-up with multiple payers in a high-volume billing environment.
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, medical terminology, medical billing office routines, and computerized medical billing systems.
  • Effective research, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.

Patient Services Representative- Everett Radia
Radia is a radiology and vascular services practice with operations throughout Washington state. We are currently seeking a Patient Services Representative to join us in our imaging center in Everett.

This is an approximately 32 hour/week position. Shift hours are:
Tues, Weds, Thurs: 10/10:30 am – 5:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the imaging center front office and the patient registration process. While providing outstanding patient and customer care, the PSR also facilitates smooth workflow between the imaging center and corporate business office and ensures a seamless registration process for patients.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in a customer-service-oriented industry, such as health care, banking or retail. Preference will be given to people with medical experience and those who have attended service-focused training programs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with scheduling, registration and/or booking processes.
  • Demonstrated facility with a variety of software programs (tech savvy).

Imaging Informatics Specialist – 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Radia is a radiology and vascular services practice with operations throughout Washington state. We hire great people who work together to provide effective, patient-centered care. We are currently looking for Imaging Informatics Specialists to support our teleRadia® remote imaging radiology services at our Everett location.

POSITION 1: 32 hours per week
Thursday – Sunday (7:00 pm – 3:30 am)

POSITION 2: 24 hours per week
Friday & Saturday (5:00 pm – 1:30 am)
Sunday (3:30 pm – 12:00 am)

POSITION 3: 16 hours per week
Monday & Tuesday (11:00 am – 7:30 pm)

We are looking for a multi-tasking team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. The successful candidate will:

  • Triage images and requisitions and distribute them to the appropriate radiologist.
  • Manage incoming images and documentation, and acquire images or documentation from clients when necessary.
  • Distribute images and necessary documentation to the radiologists based on their subspecialty expertise.
  • Distribute radiological exams evenly amongst multiple radiologists (load leveling).
    Act as a liaison between the radiologist and referring physicians.
  • Ensure patients’ medical records remain confidential according to HIPAA guidelines.
    Have the ability to troubleshoot system problems/errors.

We need someone who has the following experience, skills and education:

  • Strong teamwork, communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC’s and related word processing applications in a Windows environment with minimum 35 wpm keyboard speed.
  • The ability and desire to work a flexible schedule at multiple locations to provide optimum coverage and assistance to radiologists.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • One year work experience in a clinic or hospital, or equivalent education helpful. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Transcription Office Assistant

Radia is a radiology and vascular services practice with operations throughout Washington state. We hire great people who work together to provide effective, patient-centered care. We are currently looking for an Office Assistant for our Transcription department in our corporate office in Everett. Shift hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

We are looking for an organized, accurate, detail-oriented person who can provide office support for the transcription staff. Responsibilities will include:

  • Report Management: Scheduling radiology studies for various clinics in computer applications. Monitoring timely dictation and transcription of reports, and accurate and timely faxing and printing of results.
  • Troubleshooting: Verifying incomplete information on reports, correcting reports from hand-written and dictated information, tracking missing reports.
  • Workflow Management: Monitoring transcription applications and managing multiple work lists, troubleshooting systems problems and correcting or escalating to appropriate staff.

We need someone who has the following experience, skills and education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in health care as administrative or support staff
  • Completion of medical terminology/medical transcription course, or 1 year experience in medical transcription
